The Story Behind Will-Call.

A smiling man wearing a blue cap, teal T-shirt, and gray shorts, sitting on concrete steps with a race bib and medals around his neck, after completing a race or marathon.
Two men, one in a wheelchair, sharing a joyful moment indoors. The man in the wheelchair wears a Tampa Bay Buccaneers shirt and a blue cap, with a surprised expression. The standing man, wearing a navy shirt and a cap with the Oklahoma City Mini Marathon logo, is smiling and touching the armrest of the wheelchair.

Will is my brother, a man whose resilience once led us to run marathons together—Dallas, San Francisco, Boston. But three years ago, life took a devastating turn when COVID left him bedridden and quadriplegic. One night, Will fell out of bed at his nursing facility, helpless and bleeding, unable to use the nurse call button to get help. That moment changed everything. We knew we had to create a solution, not just for Will, but for the millions of people facing similar challenges.
