Extended Microphone for Will-Call

This high-sensitivity lavalier microphone is designed for Will-Call users who need the microphone positioned closer to them for more reliable voice pickup.

It replaces the standard Will-Call microphone in special cases where a resident has a soft or low voice, uses a tracheostomy, or cannot consistently project their voice strongly enough for the standard microphone. The 78-inch cable allows the microphone to be extended from the Will-Call device and positioned closer to the resident’s usual speaking location.

The microphone uses an omnidirectional pickup pattern and is designed for sensitive voice capture. The MAONO UL11 also supports USB-C plug-and-play connectivity and 192 kHz / 24-bit audio capture.

Best for

  • Residents with a soft or low speaking voice

  • Residents with a tracheostomy or reduced vocal strength

  • Bedridden residents who need the microphone positioned close to their head or pillow

  • Situations where the standard Will-Call microphone does not provide sufficient voice pickup

Key Features

  • Extended placement: 78-inch cable allows the microphone to be positioned closer to the resident

  • Higher sensitivity: Designed for sensitive voice pickup in situations where the standard microphone may not be sufficient

  • Omnidirectional pickup: Captures sound from multiple directions around the microphone

  • Lavalier-style design: Small microphone can be positioned near the resident’s typical speaking area

  • USB-C plug-and-play connection: Connects directly without an additional adapter in supported setups

  • 192 kHz / 24-bit audio capture: Designed to capture greater audio detail and clarity

Extra high-sensitivity Microphone– Extended Length(6ft)
$80.00

This Microphone is an optional high-sensitivity microphone for Will-Call, designed for residents who need to activate their call light from different locations within the room.

For most residents with a clear or strong speaking voice who remain near their bedside, the standard Will-Call microphone is recommended. The ReSpeaker is intended for special situations where greater voice pickup and flexibility are needed, such as a resident who moves around the room in a wheelchair or may not always be positioned close to Will-Call.

Its four-microphone array provides 360Β° far-field voice pickup, allowing it to capture speech from multiple directions without requiring the resident to remain directly in front of the microphone. Built-in audio processing features including beamforming, automatic gain control, voice activity detection and noise suppression help improve voice capture across the room.

Best for:

  • Residents who move around the room in a wheelchair

  • Residents who may call for help from different positions in the room

  • Softer voices that require greater microphone sensitivity

  • Rooms where positioning a microphone close to the resident is not practical

Key features:

  • 360Β° omnidirectional voice pickup

  • Four-microphone array

  • Far-field voice capture

  • Higher-sensitivity option for Will-Call

  • Beamforming and automatic gain control

  • Noise suppression and voice activity detection

  • Designed for flexible room placement

  • Connects to Will-Call as an alternative to the standard microphone

For facility bundles, enhanced microphones can be added by quantity where needed.

How will Will-Call connect to your nurse call system?

For nurse call panels with a 1/4" port and a flat face

No Action Needed

For curved, recessed or crowded nurse call panels

Will-Call 1/4” Jack Extension Cable (Right-Angle, 1FT)
$20.00

Some nurse call systems have ports that are hard to reach or recessed, making it difficult for the Will-Call’s 1/4” plug to connect properly. This 1-foot right-angle extension cable solves that.

It extends the reach of your existing 1/4” audio plug, giving you more flexibility when connecting to wall panels, consoles, or bedside systems. The right-angle design prevents cable strain and helps with tight installations.

**This is an add-on for the Will-Call device. Ships with your main order when purchased together.

For nurse call systems with an 8-pin round connector

Type Y2 Adapter
$75.00

A Type Y2 adapter, is a device that converts a single wall receptacle into two separate receptacles: one of the same style and another for a 1/4" phone plug. This allows for the connection of multiple nurse call devices or for adapting to different plug styles.

Compatible with:

  • TekTone Tek-CARE300III DIN 8
